A Letter From A Muslim Girl

Dear Oprah,
I'm writing you from Middle East - United Arab Emirates- Dubai, to tell you how much I truly admire you and that I'm a big fan of your show and also to tell you things that have been tickling my heart months ago. And Exactly when I saw your show about Rania Al-Baz and what have been said about the entire KSA society.
Everyone in the ME didn't accept such behaviour and the case went through lots of procedures, but the main case still blurred.

The main case; was the reason that made the show talk about sightseeing in the W.W.World but torture in KSA!
Everyone talked about how come Oprah be so touched by the topic and forget that our society isn't as media in west projects! Showing us cruel and heartless with women meanwhile- if you compared the ENTIRE KSA crimes against women won't equal ONE USA STATES crimes against women!

I'm not saying that what Rania went through is simple, but she still an individual that we can't judge the entire country and country's people for what happened between her and her husband!! Meanwhile we can't count the number of crimes against women in USA, Yet no one blames their life style!

BUT everyone blames Hijab and so did Oprah by adding it to the list of tortures women face. It isn't true, you can visit Gulf countries and ask any decent woman if she is willing to walk without it and live like west women life.
I personally think that a Women like yourself OPRAH, the one who cares to hold hands of poor Africans and help needy people around the world after seeing things from their eyes, won't ignore such subject and will also study it and go though it from our point of view.

Oprah you have such a power and influence on people, Why not use it to build the bridge between those parts of the world which are living conflict with the west? That would mean a lot to humanity. I believe in the power of word, but most of all in the power of God (Allah)
Please don't hear us from FOX.

PS. I really wish Oprah read this letter
